Hosts United Arab Emirates will welcome over 300 worldwide wheelchair basketball gamers representing the next 12 girls’s and 16 males’s groups to compete over twelve days of competitors on the showcase occasion:

The groups (listed above) all certified by way of their related zonal Championships, other than the United Arab Emirates who’ve robotically acquired a bunch spot within the males’s event, and China and Thailand within the girls’s event who’ve changed their respective Asia Oceania zonal counterparts, United Arab Emirates and Iran, who opted to not take part.
Within the girls’s competitors, the twelve groups can be cut up throughout two teams (Group A & Group B). The highest 4 in every group will progress to the knock-out levels of quarter-finals, semi-finals, and medal video games. Within the males’s competitors, the groups can be divided into 4 teams for the preliminary stage which is able to decide the rankings for the final 16 crossover video games, main into the quarters, semis, after which medal video games.
The teams for the 2022 IWBF World Championships can be decided on the Official Draw which is ready to happen on the 8 February 2023 on the Dubai Sports activities Council and can be out there to look at on IWBF’s YouTube channel.
